Always ask for the wine list

A lesson for all... ask for the wine list before ordering. At this lovely French restaurant in Southbank, Mom and I ordered champagne to start the night. Turns out the wine was $24.50 a glass!!!!! I think we both just about died. We took a picture to commemerate the most expensive glass of anything we have ordered in a restaurant!!!!

While my mom has been here we have made a ritual of walking to our favourite coffee shop each morning, 'Maple'. Mom also took pix of town one morning....

The New House

The new house is what they call a 40's brick clinker. Small, cute and lots of character. Also cheaper, a bonus. One bathroom, not such a bonus. Either way we are still in the same neighborhood, the kids go to the same schools and we still walk to the shops.

Yes... It has been awhile!!!!!

Well under serious threat from my 8 year old niece Madeline, I have been forced to get with the program and post. Since getting back from the states in October, we have been busy with work, had Christmas and then had to move! Now that my parents are here, we are travelling and taking lots of pix. Thus, Maddy is dying to see pix of G-ma and G-pa in Australia. So here we go........
